How It Works
This tool uses various color generation algorithms to create random colors based on your preferences:
- For random colors, it generates completely random values for hue, saturation, and lightness.
- For specific color types (pastel, bright, etc.), it constrains the saturation and lightness values to create colors with the desired characteristics.
- For harmonious colors, it uses color theory to generate colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel, creating pleasing combinations.
- The tool converts between different color formats (HEX, RGB, HSL) to provide flexibility in how you use the colors.
All color generation and conversion happens directly in your browser, ensuring your data remains private.
